Although I pretty much detest designing web sites, I do enjoy some of the backend programming involved such as database design and table normalization, the implementation of administration functions (primarily related to accessing and modifying the database or portions of the web site as in an ad hoc content management system), and also some of the design of supporting scripts (usually of the PHP and JavaScript kind).
The following partial list illustrates my, errrrmm, limited talent:
- Bellevue Ranch
- RPCServers.com (the backend MLS (multiple listing service) database, including necessary administration functions, and dynamic frontend code)
- Artificial Stupidity (something I plan to work on in the future; hardly started)
- Stuff (boy, is this old; don't let the copyright date fool you)
- jeangourd.com (you're looking at it)
- ...and a plethora of other old web sites that are probably no longer online (I should put up my old web sites circa 1995; they're a sight)
